Wanganui or Whanganui?

Hi it's me again you've probably been wondering why I haven't many posts on my blog but that's because I haven't been able to think of anything.
on the news lately some people think that they should change the name of wanganui.
I think its a stupid idea but that's my opinion.
What do you think?
